Respondent anonymity

Ensuring Anonymity in Edurio Surveys

Effective and honest feedback is one that people can give without any fear of retribution. To uphold this principle, Edurio ensures that users can not gain access to information about how each individual respondent has answered the survey questions.

How we protect respondent identity:

  • Platform results can only be viewed if at least 3 respondents have filled out the survey. The same applies to filtering and observing groups with less than three respondents.
  • Edurio results contain no references to an individual respondent (no names, surnames or email addresses) unless you identify yourself in the comments or open text answers.
  • We disallow observing any tables or graphs or downloading any PDF or excel reports that would contain information that is about just one respondent.

By implementing these safeguards, Edurio fosters a feedback culture built on trust, allowing organisations to make informed decisions while respecting respondent anonymity.

Mr_EdurioHere is an example of the survey results for a staff survey. The platform doesn't allow to view results for any group with fewer than 3 responses. Users cannot filter individual answers.

I've received an email with a unique link from no-reply@edurio.com - are the results still anonymous?

Yes! The unique link ensures that:

  • Each respondent can only complete the survey once.
  • Edurio can track who has or hasn’t completed the survey to send reminders.

Your your responses remain completely anonymous - your email address and name are not linked to your answers in any way.
